Rose Quartz. Pink. Blush... Call it whatever you want, it's been making me seriously happy lately! Since saturated hues are somewhat new for me (I've been on a neutrals kick for the last couple of years), I'm easing into this obsession with a ton of flirty inspiration images and fun additions to Lo's space. It's super convenient that five-year-old rooms are the perfect place to experiment with unconventional colors. Next up on my wishlist, a few grown-up pops of pink and some blush colored additions to my closet.

Yay Friday! I caught a little bug this week and spent most of my free hours in bed. I'm happy to be rid of the week and celebrating the fourth of July in style. Hopefully we'll spend the day by the pool, light a few sparklers and bask in a little R&R. Do you have luxurious holiday plans?

Whew! Now THAT was a weekend. We played host to a handful of energetic five year olds for Lorelai's birthday and I'm wiped out. A slow Sunday filled with cyber window-shopping was just what I needed to recoup after a major sugar crash. With words like pre-fall swirling around in the ether and the heat index at a record high, I'm OVER summer. I'm at a weird crossroads where bikinis and cozy pieces are equally appealing. I want to take a dip in the pool and hibernate at home all at the same time.
