Real Women Have Curves

I fell in love with this Cosmopolitan Australia editorial after having come across it via Pinterest this week. Forever on the fence about the industry-wide standard of  skinny, I love that size twelve model Robyn Lawley has real woman curves and still looks ultra sexy. I've been spending the last couple of days lounging and housekeeping so I love the laid back vibe of this shoot! What do you think about "plus sized" models and more importantly how practical would it be for me to wear a crown of flowers to do my chores?

Rock Me Like A Hurricane

blouse: abercrombie & fitch | lace shorts: zara | lace booties: kardashian by bebe

I've been trying pretty hard to incorporate more color into my style and I'm secretly really enjoying the challenge. I found this gingham button-up hiding somewhere near the bottom of my closet and loved styling it differently than I originally planned. I think the double dose of lace "fashions" up an otherwise boring piece.

p.s. Hurricane Issac is totally putting a damper (haha, pun) on the last few weeks here in central Florida. I'm trying to find time in between spurts of torrential downpour to snap a few outfit shots.

Boyfriend Jeans

jacket: bebe | tank: cotton on | boyfriend jeans: zara | bag: zara | shoes: aldo

These boyfriend jeans from Zara are my go-to for errand running and mommy duties, so comfy! When I've got things to do I throw them on, grab a huge tote bag (love the rose gold studs on this one!), swap my heels for flats and go. What do you wear when you have things to check off of your to-do list?
