We had a fab Thanksgiving, just the three of us! I ended up cooking most of Wednesday and all day Thursday but was lucky enough to get in plenty of family time, a mommy-only morning coffee and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade viewing and a quick photoshoot of everyone's outfit. I love the texture this faux leather skater skirt lends to an outfit and the red shirt is actually a tucked in peplum top (I swapped the skirt for pants later in the day and the peplum let me get away with a second serving of sweet potato pie!). I had to include Mr. Jackson and miss Lo's looks as well. How cute are tiny leopard skinnies and a Daddy that doesn't mind coordinating with the family? The first reason that I love blogging? December is jam packed with special days for me, Christmas being my favorite holiday and my birthday taking place on the fourth, and I've finally nailed down my wishlist! This holiday season I'm dying to get my hands on some luxe bath products, the chicest wellies, cute mommy and me aprons to wear while we bake all of our fave Christmas cookies and a couple of shiny baubles. I definitely have my fair share of not-so-glam days, but I love the extra height that these hidden wedge sneakers give me; I find that I feel so much more pulled together with a few additional inches. Today I woke up late, rushed to the dentist (oh, you didn't notice my STILL swollen face?) and spent the rest of the afternoon running a few last minute errands before we attend a friend's wedding this weekend.
