The holiday craziness has passed (whew!) and we're finally getting back into our routine. Today we ran a few totally necessary errands (hello, cap-toe pumps on sale at target!) and I spent some time sorting out my New Years resolutions. I'm more than happy to add these colorful wedge sneakers (a Christmas gift from Mr. Jackson's family) to my growing collection! I've been hearing great things about Madewell for quite some time and I finally got the chance to visit the South Coast Plaza store while staying with family in SoCal this December. I always like to visit at least one physical store and get a feel for my sizes and styling before I purchase anything online so I'm glad I finally got to check it out. I love giving gifts, and my favorite thing to do during the holidays is to fill up stockings. Stockings allow you to give fun, frivolous things, yummy treats and tiny trinkets that someone may not think to buy themselves. What's not to like?
