I've been seeing this stunning piece of arm candy all over the place lately (on instagram, on all of my favorite bloggers, etc) and I'm hooked! Even though it's super sparkly and MAJOR, it's a classic bracelet that I could put on heavy rotation for everyday wear. I know it's time to take the plunge and make a purchase when I revisit the piece daily but I'm currently in the process of deciding whether or not to shell out the $125 for the original J Crew version (here) or to go for the less expensive (and possible worse quality) ILY Couture version here. Which do you think I should buy (and if you have the cheaper version, is the quality good)?

2012 was a fabulous year (and obviously a year for shorts...)! It was the year that I threw myself head-first into blogging, the year I was able to see Lorelai walk and talk, the year Mr. Jackson finally finished school, and the year for many other wonderful things. Thank you for coming on this journey with me, I can't wait to share more awesome details with you in 2013! What are your plans for the new year?

In years passed I've fallen prey to an overdressed, over-celebrated New Years (think sequin body-con, the highest heels and an exhausting night of partying) but this year I'm more than happy to spend the day running around with Lo and Mr. Jackson and the night lighting sparklers in our backyard. I have so many exciting things planned for 2013 and I can't wait to get them started! What are you looking forward to this year?

On a different note, I'd  like to take the time to thank everyone for following me here and elsewhere online. It's been an amazing year for Chelsea & The City and I look forward to hearing more from you and sharing more of my life and style!
