Another of my goals this year was to spend more time exploring our town with my favorite girl. We're starting Mommy Mondays (girls only bonding time) off with a bang! Today Lorelai and I headed to a fancier park, had snacks and coffee (whole milk with a shot of vanilla for Lo) and shopped our local farmer's market. On days when we're hanging out I try to dress down a little. My mom uniform usually consists of an easy button-up (worn here) and boots made for walkin'. What do you rock on more relaxed days?

As I get more seriously involved in my blog I find myself needing a physical work space to settle into and create posts/edit pictures. I'd love to set up a desk that reflects my personality and inspires me to get to work. A great light source, some fly desk accessories and a few luxurious decorations are just what the boss ordered! I've also been on the hunt for the perfect reading/computer glasses (I get killer headaches!) and I think I may have landed on Warby Parker specs. Where do you work/blog and how do you make your space "you"?

One of my New Years resolutions is to have more frequent date nights with Mr. Jackson. 2012, though a fabulous year in many ways (we spent a ton of energy nurturing our relationships with baby Lo), was not the best for couple time. So far we've been out on a family date and as this week winds down we're heading out on the town! A peplum top is great for trying delicious new restaurants (hello hidden full tummy!) and I like shorts for dates because you never know what adventures you'll be embarking on.
