The classic white shirt is something that I have yet to master. I can never seem to find one that fits just right, washes well & that I don't spill coffee on within the first fifteen minutes of wearing. However, my search will continue until I find the right piece for my wardrobe because a crisp white blouse is one of the most polished and practical wardrobe staples a girl can have. This silk Zara version, while beautiful (and I'm totally digging the studded shoulder detail!), just isn't very Chelsea friendly. It's not machine washable (I learned that the hard way, trust me) and doesn't hang quite right on my frame. Have you found the perfect white shirt?

San Fran is definitely at the top of my list when it comes to the West Coast. While I love palm trees and the laid back lifestyle that is Southern California, the Bay Area has a vibe all its own. Where LA is congested and bustling, San Francisco is cultured and sophisticated. I love to stroll cute little neighborhoods, chat in fun coffee shops and explore family-friendly sites and this city has it all in spades! What's the quintessential San Francisco look? High-quality, streamlined basics with a few fun punches of color and a structured bag. My favorite Bay Area fashion bloggers (9to5 Chic, This Time Tomorrow, etc) are always rocking the most polished but edgy pieces and I love their city chic look.

This is one of those outfits I debated not blogging. Lo and I spent the day exploring our neighborhood and whipping up something for dinner which called for comfort and practicality. Since it's been raining off and on for a couple days here in central Florida, I thought I'd add an easy chambray under my sweater (in case a surprise downpour hit and I had to take a layer off half-way through our walk). Do you own J Crew's Pixie pants? Although somewhat unflattering (hello dreaded camel-toe) they're seriously the most comfortable pair of pants that I own! If you haven't, just go in and try these babies on, I'm begging you.

Spring is definitely in the air where I live! As we made our way home the birds we chirping, the flowers were blooming and I could hear my shorts calling to me from the far reaches of my closet. I'm beyond excited for warmer weather! What are you most excited for this Spring?
