My Picks: J Crew Sale

Guys! With Easter behind us, Lent is officially over and so is the end of my buying ban! J Crew obviously knows this and sent out an "extra 30% off of sale styles" e-mail this morning... how considerate of them!

I have a love/hate relationship with sales. I mean, who can resist a good deal? On the other hand, I usually find that the things in sale bins are there for a reason (out of season or generally unloved and ill-received pieces). The exception? J Crew. Their items are always timeless and seasonally transitional, making the event of snagging a pretty blouse or awesome statement necklace a total score.

Use the code SUNSHINE for an extra 30% off all sale items in store and online.

Easter weekend was full of sniffles and a whole lot of ice cream shoppe jelly beans. You see that tired momma up there? That is the face of rocking sick babies to sleep until 4am and waking up at 9 to play Easter Bunny. The fluffy guy visited, leaving a trail of paw prints in his wake, and brought miss Lorelai Miss Lina's Ballerinas, a stuffed lamb and quite a few chocolate treats. We immediately changed back into our PJs and wasted the day (with the exception of an early dinner out).

I scored this Prabal Gurung dress for 50% off at Target! Sometimes a designer collab makes it big (think Missoni for Target) and sometimes my favorite pieces don't quite translate with the typical Target shopper. More for me!

p.s. How cute is the polka dot skirt in the Loft window?!
    Happy Friday + weekly roundup

Happy Easter weekend my lovelies! I love Easter and I'm so happy to celebrate the holiday with Lorelai and my mister. Hopefully Saturday & Sunday find us cured of our colds and enjoying the spoils of an Easter Bunny visit (he's got candy, books and a few new furry friends planned for Lo). I hope you have an amazing time welcoming Spring and I hope you manage to squeeze in a little time for brunch (eggs Benedict is calling me!). The past few days have been a roller coaster of ups and downs so here's to deciding to be in a good mood every morning from now on!

    This week I've been loving:
