Happy Friday my pretties! This week was a blast (minus one bad day) but I'm so glad the weekend is here to greet us. My car is finally in working order after being on the fritz for months and Lorelai and I were able to experience a little freedom this week (we don't have to share a car with Daddy anymore woohoo)! We spent our days at the park and it was b-e-a-utiful outside (we're talking 93 degrees yesterday!). This weekend we've planned a day-trip to Tampa and I've got my heart set on a J Crew visit! I hope you're able enjoy a couple of days taking in a few of life's luxuries.

I'm so excited to share this 'Spring Style Sessions' collaboration I did with the sweet and fabulous Molly from Sir Paul & Company! I reached out to Molly several weeks ago just to say "Hey girl, hey! I totally love your blog and we're both from Florida, cool." (or something like that). We started a dialogue about someday escaping the Southern heat and her cute pug Paul (I mean... Isn't he the cutest?!) and eventually threw around a few collaboration ideas. We decided to share four (stay tuned for more!) Spring trends we're both loving!

Can we talk about how fabulous it is that we color coordinated without discussing it first?! That's how you know you're on the same wavelength as another blogger, folks. I styled my floral denim with a pop of Pantone's "color of the year", emerald, and my fave statement necklace. I just love Molly's look (how stunning are her Prada shades?!) and how she dressed down her colorful pattern with a simple chambray shirt.

Because of miss Lorelai's brief case of the flu I was only able to attend two days of GFW festivities (see my recap of opening night here). Saturday played host to an airport hangar turned runway and I had a blast checking out collections from local designers as well as Macy's take on Spring trends! The night was so much fun and I was lucky enough to score a spot next to more professional photographers at the very end of the runway to capture these great shots. 

I read an interview where fashion blogger turned America's Next Top Model judge Bryan Boy said that he attended Fashion Week to see the new collections, not to show off his clothes from old ones. That quote totally applies here as I was going for comfort and utility (and a little height to see over the other show-goers) and opted for these comfy leather pants and a few shiny accessories.
