Happy weekend my dears. This week has been great! We spent a few beautiful Spring days exploring my favorite neighborhoods and working on fun projects (like my second collaboration with Molly and photos of Lorelai for a catalog). This weekend I've got big plans to stay in pajamas and watch endless reruns of my favorite shows. What can I say? This week was a busy (but rewarding) one!

I've been seriously obsessed with stripes lately! My burgeoning obsession made this week's Spring Style Sessions collaboration with Molly (from Sir Paul & Company) a blast to work on. I love stripes. Stripes on top of stripes, stripes with florals, stripes and solids... I'll take it all! 

With a recent trip to J Crew under my belt (and a few fabulous items burning a hole in my closet) I decided to go a little outside of my comfort zone. Although it looked totally crazy at first, I'm so glad I paired my striped skater skirt with this super fun citrus print blouse! I got a few real-life compliments (that's how you know it's working, my friends) and the little oranges have earned a special place in this Florida girl's heart.

I love how Molly styled her striped outfit! The varying sizes of the stripes on her skirt and top are really flattering and can we all just take a moment of silence for that perfect ballerina bun?! p.s. How cute is Paul the Pug? Even he has stripes on!

Yesterday was lovely! The weather was just beautiful (we're talking no humidity, a light breeze and sunny skies) and Mr. Jackson was able to spend the day with us. His work schedule has been all over the place lately and we've become accustomed to seeing him only during the evening hours. We escaped to my favorite Gainesville neighborhood, took an afternoon stroll, ate dinner outside and managed to squeeze in a post-meal swinging session. This is my definition of heaven!

These emerald colored butterfly shorts, which I scored on mega-sale (J Crew is having a store/site-wide 25% off sale right now!), make me so ready for Summer! They're the perfect length and the sweetest pattern. I can already see that they're going to be a staple as the days get longer and the weather gets warmer!

p.s. Can we talk about Lorelai's cute-as-a-button mini purse?! We picked it up this Sunday and she's been wearing it ever since. There may or may not have been a couple of naps taken while wearing this bag!
