Happy Friday! + weekly roundup

TGIF indeed! Happy weekend my loves, this week has been a doozy. I'm sorry for the radio silence around here... Lorelai had an amazing birthday trip to Disney and we're experiencing some serious theme park hangover! I'm nursing quite the sunburn (Kim K's ski-tan's got nothing on me, thanks sunnies!) and I hope this weekend is full of relaxing down time.

Love my J Crew inspired rose necklace?! The Southern Charm Apparel team is offering Chelsea & The City readers $6 off (making it only $12... score!) with code LOVEROSE. I have so many outfits planned around this gorgeous statement piece. You can pick yours up through the weekend!

Here's what I've been loving this week:

There are things in life that are "acquired tastes". When I was a little girl my parents explained that veggies were an acquired taste (still don't like asparagus guys, sorry), people tell me that the taste of beer grows on you (NOPE, not happening) but there is one thing that I loathed when I was younger but am really getting into this Summer... Country. Country music, cowboy boots, chambray. I'll take it all! There's something about warm weather that makes you want to sit on your front porch with a mason jar full of sweet tea.

p.s. How cute is this rose necklace?! It's not the color I was expecting but I have a feeling I'll be rocking this fun accessory all season...

Because who doesn't like to listen from songs from their childhood?!
