To be entirely honest, Memorial Day and Labor Day should (to me at least) be celebrated the same way. One is the ceremonial kickoff to Summer and the other, its last hoorah. Summer is definitely the season of cold sips (made cuter by a stainless steel garden tub), trips to the lake and al fresco dinner parties. A little lobster never hurt either! This Memorial Day, why not gather your friends and family for a coastal blowout?

Around here, the weekends call for easy (read: comfortable) outfits suitable for running errands and embarking on last minute adventures with my little family. Whenever I'm in the mood for a no-brainer look I turn to my trusty Canadian tuxedo. A double dose of denim is always a good idea!

This weekend we did a whole lot of lounging, took a trip to the mall and hit up (my favorite spot) Midnight Cookies... A "gourmet" cookie shop (think chicken & waffles, boston cream pie and s'mores cookies) that delivers past midnight and even brings the milk?  Now THAT's a good idea!
