C'mon Fall, I'm waiting for you! It's still in the 90s here in the South, and although I've already started burning my "Leaves" candle and drinking pumpkin spice lattes, September is not shaping up to be very autumnal. I'm pushing Mother Nature along by working Fall pieces (like these booties and a few cozy knits) into my rotation until she gets her act together. Are you welcoming the season with sweaters? After all... sweater weather is better weather!

One of my favorite things happening this Fall is the introduction of sportier pieces to my wardrobe. The tomboy-cool baseball caps and comfy-yet-chic track pants cropping up all over are perfect for the girl who likes to be stylish but believes that comfort is key (and for the mommy on the go)! The best way to ensure that your sweats and bad hair day coverup baseball hat don't look frumpy? Throw on sparkly statement jewels and heels (or hidden wedges) for a little extra height.

It's finally Friday my lovelies... happy weekend! Do you ever have weeks that just seem to escape you? In thinking of this little recap I realized, I have no idea what actually happened. It was a whirlwind of too little sleep, too many hours spent at the computer and 7 Harry Potter movies (which is probably where all of the time went...oops). Last month I participated in Lara Casey's #intentionalaugust (a motivational movement aimed at living purposefully). While I wasn't intentional every moment of every day (and this week, had it taken place in August, would have been the ultimate fail) it gave me something to focus on/strive for. Lara has deemed September #savorseptember (read about it here) and I couldn't be more on board! This weekend I'll be trying to savor all of life's beautiful and blessed moments, won't you join me?
