Happy Friday friends. I'm so excited to share some good news this week: we finally received a date and are moving to Alabama this month! Mr. Jackson's first day at his new job is September 30th and we're blowing this popsicle stand leaving Gainesville on the 28th. Let the mad dash to pack/organize/move begin! Since I'm in the eye of the moving storm, I plan on taking on a lighter blogging schedule for a while. For the near future you can expect blog posts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (plus bonus posts if I just can't help myself). I hope your weekend is fabulous!

Earlier this week I talked about sportier styles being popular for Fall (see that post here) and was inspired to venture out in my sweats. Although you can usually find me lounging in some variation of these pants at home, I normally don't pair them with a structured top and mirrored heels. Looking back at these photos (and if it wasn't still in the 90s in Florida) I'd probably un-scrunch the bottoms for a more polished look. Is it possible to be polished in sweatpants?!

Fall is a magical time... a time when I can finally bring the leather pieces out from the recesses of my closet. As you may have heard me mention, I practically live in leather leggings during the colder months. They're my go-to on days when I'm running errands/chasing Lorelai around but still want to look pulled together. 

This season there are so many leather items on my wishlist! I'm dying for a beautiful, structured bag, the perfect pair of leather shorts and some tough tees. How will you incorporate leather into your wardrobe this Fall?
