Today is my twenty-third birthday! I'll be spending the day snuggling little bit, browsing a few shops and heading out for dinner with Mr. Jackson. Here's to hoping that this year is just as fabulous as 22, with infinitely more possibilities!

We're definitely in the midst of winter here in Alabama! Last week temperatures dropped below freezing and I began scrambling to pull together my cold-weather necessities. Since I haven't needed one in years, I don't have a winter coat and this J.Crew version is quickly making its way to the top of my wishlist (okay, so THIS one is actually the tippy top but let's be real). I've also noticed that the chilly winter air is wrecking my hands! A little shea butter hand cream and a pair of super chic gloves should do the trick...

Is it me or are men really hard to shop for? When it comes down to it, I always dread finding the perfect gift for Mr. Jackson. Not this year! I've picked out an assortment of classic American pieces that even I'm secretly adding to my wishlist. That sweater? It's perfect for keeping cozy apres-ski and I would definitely steal it from his closet. A subscription service that'll send him a whole box of options handpicked just for him?
