Having family visit is so much fun! While I love hosting my sweet family, it's also really draining to open up your home to guests... I'm going to miss my little sister and momma more than words but this weekend I'm looking forward to reclaiming our space and getting some much needed rest. Hopefully I'll be able to recharge a little, re-group and start fresh with a normal posting schedule. Since I haven't had a whole lot of time to peruse the internet, my favorites are a little sparse this week but here's what I loved:

Fun fact: the month of January was originally named for a god with two heads... one looking back at the past and one looking forward at the future. With what's quickly becoming one of my favorite months of the year (all of this motivation and these amazing resolutions swirling around the blogosphere) halfway under our belts, I've nailed down my favorites for moving on into the new year. A pair of warm (and chic) leather gloves that still work with your precious iPhone and a cozy coat are perfect for holding onto winter while something sparkly for our little nest my neck are great for lighting a fire under 2014!

This weekend passed in a bit of a blur! With a trip to the airport for the three of us and some settling in for my mom and sister I had zero time to even think about outfit planning. I'll let you in on a little secret: I've never been a big fan of jeans. They've always been so uncomfortable and such a hassle to wear but this pair of leggings has changed it all for me! I wore this pair from church, to lunch, to the airport and back this weekend with not the slightest ache for my beloved sweats... and THAT'S saying something. With Monday finally here and the girls staying on until Friday, let's hope that there's plenty of family fun and a small semblance of routine in store for my week!
