Can you believe it's almost 2015?! While I come to terms with the new year, reflect on all of the amazing things that happened in 2014 and create my list of resolutions I'll be doing a little winter hibernating. This week I'm hiding away at home with a lot of tea, a record player and my thoughts for the future.

Sometimes winter can seem dreary (it's been cold and rainy every day for weeks) but it's nice to have the space to breathe and recoup when the weather is chilly. We don't usually see a traditional "winter" season here in Alabama but since encountering a light dusting around this time last year, I've been crossing my fingers for snow. A cozy sweater (like this one from Free People) and no-brainer thigh highs are perfect for staying warm and stylish when it's cold out.

Winter Boots

Happy Holidays friends! Christmas is behind us (is anyone else already feeling a little blue that it's over?) and it's finally time to think about winter dressing. Even though it feels like the season hinges on a certain bearded man with a bag full of goodies, we're in for at least two more months of chill.

In years past I've neglected to invest in a pair of tall boots to keep me warm during all of those outdoor activities that come with the season but this Steve Madden pair from Off Broadway Shoes is perfect for strolling rows of blue spruce trees, braving the crowds at the mall and visiting friends when there's a bit of chill in the air.

On another note, recently I've been spending a ton of time at the converted cotton mill that houses our new studio space. I have found every excuse to stop by during the last few weeks and can proudly say that we finally have a set of keys and a fresh coat of white paint! These photos were taken just down the hall from our little studio and I can already tell that there will be a ton of inspiring corners to explore.

Weekly Vlog 03: Car Confessional, Lowe Mill & Christmas Recital

The past week has been pretty hectic (hooray for holidays) but I'm happy we were met with a relaxed weekend with plenty of time to spend regaining hours of sleep. Unfortunately, the vlogs are a week behind and I won't be sharing our Christmas until next week. Hopefully you enjoy this peek at our life anyway...
