Happy Friday friends! With Valentine's Day this weekend (and so much going on for us), I'm scrambling to find the perfect LBD (little black dress) to wear on a romantic date with Mr. Jackson. Shopbop always makes it easy to decide with their video feature... I love seeing each piece in action.

Valentine's Day is almost upon us and I've been remiss not to share my wishlist. With a little help from Shopbop's Valentine's Day gift guide, I put together quite the list of things that make my heart skip a beat. The romantic holiday has always been a favorite of mine and this year I'm obsessing over all things ladylike (okay, not ALL things... that "I love the sh*t out of you" glass is hardly demure) and lacy. Aside from Saturday being our official "moving day", I've got plans to dress up in something pretty and Mr. Jackson has already made dinner reservations.

Even though the days are getting longer and the sun is shining a bit longer, we're still in the midst of winter. I'm definitely taking the opportunity to dress is cozy layers and pull on my favorite knee-high socks while I still can.

A little while ago, I set out with my sweet girl (below) and best friend on a spontaneous adventure. We scaled muddy creeks, busy roads and prickly bushes just to lay in the tall golden grass and embrace the last few glimpses of winter. With warm toes and warmer hearts, we celebrated a magical season!
