Voodoo Queen

I'm throwing it back a little (#TBT anyone?) to a dreamy pre-wedding weekend escape to New Orleans. A few months ago we ventured to the French Quarter for a little bit of pampering and adventure. I've been to the city twice this year and it has quickly become one of my favorite cities for strolling the streets and taking in the scenery.

Fresh off the massage table and feeling a bit sticky from the bayou humidity, this look is pretty minimal but perfect for taking it all in. Trust me, there's so much dreaminess to see!

Designer Spotlight: Zadig & Voltaire

This space started as a good ole way to share things that strike my fancy. While I love a good curated and meaningful blog post, some days I just want to pop in and obsess over pretty designs with you. Look no further:

Love a good bit of hippie glam? Me too! The Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection from Zadig & Voltaire is the perfect personification of grungy glam meets Western inspiration and I'm LOVING it. To see the full collection via Vogue, click here.

The first week of November is here (can you believe it?) and I'm excited for more chances at Fall dressing! Chunky knit layers, ankle boots and updated accessories have been pulling at my heart strings and pushing their way onto my wishlist lately. With so many opportunities to crunch fallen leaves and stroll in the brisk breeze, I've got my eye on something shaggy and cozy for bundling up. Aside from the frivolity of pretty pieces, we're currently housing a broken sofa and on the hunt for a replacement. Something with clean lines and a neutral (but not white... we learned our lesson the hard way!) would be perfect. What's on your November wishlist?

p.s. It's almost time for the requisite holiday gift guides (my favorite time to blog all year)! I'm experimenting with new formats and better timing and would love to hear your thoughts. Is sooner better than later? Are you over collage-style guides? Would something more interactive be fun? SPILL!
