The countdown is on and I just can't help it, everything on my mind is somehow vacation related! We fly out of Atlanta (my least favorite airport in the world) next Wednesday, layover in Paris for a few hours and then...

... you didn't think I was going to give it away, did you? Somehow, keeping our final destination(s) a secret has made this whole trip a little more exciting but that hasn't stopped me from spending every free hour perusing the shops/blogs for getaway essentials, watching travel videos for pointers and obsessing over my carry on contents. Tassels, texture and light airy colors (within my neutral color wheel, of course) are the name of the game for this honeymoon/work whirlwind.

Happy Friday... finally! This week (much like the weeks before it) was a whirlwind but that just means that we're one step closer to vacation. Ainsworth and I, along with two friends, are adventure bound in just eleven short days. I'm spending that time researching far-off attractions, sharing a style post and frantically assembling a suitcase full of gladiators, kaftans and discotheque dresses. This week has been crazy! In fact, this entire spring season has been and will continue to be so exciting AND hectic. So far I've been on set of two incredible editorials since Sunday, played dress up with 13 models, had my hands on my favorite fashion and bridal brands and took one 13 hour nap. Whew! I'm headed back to Nashville on Sunday for something fun and then Ainsworth and I will be in full vacation prep mode. I'm beyond excited to finally share where we'll be exploring soon! In the meantime, it's SO nice to finally be sharing personal style posts again. I took a lot of time away from in front of the camera and started working with some incredible new people. I can't wait for all that's in store for Hazel + Scout.

In other news, I'm completely smitten with skinny scarves (one of trends I predicted would blow up in 2016). Admittedly, I didn't think I was every going to be on board with the trend but it's slowly found a place in my heart (and closet). I love the edgy 70s rocker vibe a slender scarf adds to every outfit!
