Oh Shopbop sale, how I love you... Rarely am I more excited by retailer emails than when the Shopbop End of Season Sale notifications start showing up in my inbox. There's just something about seeing the pieces you've been falling in love with all season long at a steep discount, am I right? Luckily EVERYTHING is on sale (new arrivals and sale alike!) and I've already got my eye on quite a few cozy things. Even though I'm living vicariously through your cool weather snaps and fall style shots (it's STILL 90 degrees every day here with no hope for an Autumn breeze), we've been throwing around the idea of a winter getaway that would definitely call for a few sweaters.

A couple of tips for shopping the sale: Shopbop is blessed with a crazy big selection of amazing things but sometimes it can get a little overwhelming. My favorite way to sort through the chaos is to take in the new arrivals first. I'm also loving the Fall Checklist and their Spotlight on Paris Fashion Week! If all else fails I've rounded up my favorite finds up top. Happy shopping!

Weekend Reading
IMG_3280.JPG

Hey hey! The weekend snuck up on us quickly this time around, didn't it? I have big plans to do a little beach lounging and explore a neighboring island today (maybe there's even a travel post in it for this space) but I've also spent a few extra hours in bed browsing my favorite sites and barreling through most of Parenthood. It's all about balance, right? The extra downtime this weekend led me to stumble upon some things and I thought it would be fun to share. Here's to a little Sunday reading!

Tres Americain launched this week and I'm already loving it!
The perfect little home renovation that's a little outside of my usual style... Studio McGee always nails it
Broad City is back and I couldn't be more excited! The season is on episode two and so far, we're WAY into it.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch is coming back and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Will it be the same without Melissa Joan Hart?! What about Salem?

So nice... I had to do it twice! I've been thinking about adding even more art to our home lately and since you guys loved this post about society 6 as much as I loved making it, I thought I'd give the site a second glance and round up even more favorites. Lately I'm really drawn to quirky pieces of art that make our home a little bit more whimsical and contribute punches of color (I'm really gravitating toward mustard and green right now). A few pieces that stand out to me are "Unfeigned" (that pretty color and the fine art appeal), the hilarious Bill Murray portrait, "Hide & Seek" (which includes a line from my favorite Bukowski poem) and those pretty golden cherry blossoms.
