Happy December my loves! This month is my favorite of the year and I'm so happy to finally welcome it into our lives. I celebrated a birthday on Monday (the 4th) and we're just days away from our huge getaway... it's all happening! These last couple days before our trip pretty much have me saying, "No thanks!" to everything. I may be mentally checked out already but I didn't want to leave you without a playlist this month so I've been adding to this one. I know it'll be the soundtrack to my month as we explore some new places and indulge in some serious R&R. Maybe you'll do the same?

Lorelai is going through one of those stages where NONE of her clothes fit due to a major growth spurt and I've been spending more time than I would like perusing the online shops for tiny outfits. While I'd love to stock up on adorable new winter wardrobe pieces in mini sizes, there's pretty much nothing island-appropriate out in stores right now. However, a girl can dream.

Is it just me or is everything from Zara Mini surprisingly chic? Little culottes? Metallic brogues? Perfect shearling coats? Does that come in my size?!

Every year I run into the same problem while doing my holiday shopping... men are SO. HARD. TO. SHOP. FOR. My husband never asks for anything specific and most men aren't as driven to want pretty gifts (making my choices pretty obsolete) as their fairer counterpart . Over the last decade of Christmas shopping for a picky, practical man I've realized that holiday gifts should be useful and a little frivolous (that the men in your life might not be inclined to pick up for themselves during the year). You can never go wrong with gadgets like this cool Marshall speaker or the new Nintendo Switch.
