16 Must-Buy Pieces from Anthropologie's Summer Tag Sale

We've been settling into our new island space for the past couple of days and I'm spending a lot of time daydreaming about the arrival of our household goods and the acquisition of a few more pieces to make it really feel like home. While we have until the end of August to struggle through with government issued furnishings, Anthropologie's Summer Tag Sale is here and there are a few things on my list that are up to 50% off! I'm dying to snag a couple of interesting touches to turn this 1950s beach abode into out little bohemian hideaway and I can always count on Anthropologie for unique accents.

Hannah Henderson's Modern Bohemian Home + Shop Tour

Personal style icon, bad-ass business woman, mother of two (to Lennon & Costa) and all around California cool girl Hannah Henderson has been on my radar for years. I constantly find myself looking to her (don't follow her on Instagram? you should) for style inspiration and motherhood advice. Some of my favorite curiosities in our home have come from General Store, the shop that put Hannah at the helm which is a must-visit whenever I'm in SoCal. The laid-back vibe that Henderson exudes seems to swirl all around her... both within the walls of her brick and mortar shop tucked away in one of Southern California's coolest neighborhoods and in her airy, relaxed and expertly curated Venice Beach home. Need proof? Look no further.

10 Interior Design Finds I'm Loving Now

Crisp white walls, a ton of natural light and rattan everything... these are a few of my current favorite things. With the challenge of making a new space feel like home in a completely foreign country looming, I've been pinning inspiring rooms like crazy lately. While I know we'll be dealing with a few interior limitations (namely white concrete walls, government issue wooden furniture and rattan pieces), I'm really looking forward to the challenge. In an effort to fully embrace the island lifestyle I'm leaning into beachy furnishings, a lot of tropical plant life and simple set-ups. Of course, we're toting along a few of our favorite pieces like the textiles that we brought back from Morocco, small pieces of accent furniture (like a few mid-century tables and our bar cart) and a green velvet sofa. I'm banking on these things giving character to our otherwise standard space.

A few more things I'd love to bring along:
