Weekly Favorites 01

silk cami, girls chambray top, girls sandals, moroccan wedding basket, teak armchair, geometric rug

It's been a while since I participated in Ashlyn & Kristin's four favorites linkup solely because I can never narrow it down to the four things I'm loving most. Now that they've changed the theme to "weekly favorites" I'm stoked to join the party once again!

I've got neutral decor on the brain and I'm itching to add a few new accents to our space. Were you as obsessed with the Moroccan wedding blanket trend as I was still am? I could never find the perfect throw that wouldn't break the bank but I spotted this basket version on Kelly's blog last week and became completely smitten. It would look perfect with a cool new rug and that gorgeous teak chair, right?!

Clothing wise I've been pretty focused on Lorelai's shrinking wardrobe. Since she's always hitting a growth spurt and the seasons are constantly changing, her wardrobe usually consists of six good outfits... not enough for this momma (you wouldn't believe how much extra laundry a three year old creates)! I'll probably wait until Fall to grab a few new things but simple, classic styles reign supreme in our house. Speaking of classic, I bought a black silk cami two weeks ago and never want to wear anything else! I'm thinking the nude version will be a good addition to my closet.

I can't even begin to explain what an amazing feeling it is to see pretty little visions come to life! Over the weekend Ginny and I had fun working on an upcoming collaboration shoot and it quickly turned into playtime. It's amazing what three pounds of homemade pixie dust (aka holi powder) can do for your overall happiness... my house (and clothes) are covered in pink and I'm not mad one bit.

I couldn't help but share these fun images but stay tuned for the full post soon!

Gathering Inspiration

Some weekends are a little too filled to the brim with living to spend much time creating blog content! Since I we were busy soaking up the sun, taking Lo to see Frozen in the park & working on an amazing shoot (expect a pretty cool style post soon!) I didn't have a lot of spare time to be a good blogger... oops.

I haven't mentioned it here for a while but I'm constantly adding new inspiring images to my tumblr. I've been using this platform for years (longer than I've been blogging and longer than Pinterest has been around!) to curate pretty pictures and I'm still obsessed! Follow along for a daily dose of inspiration.
