Welcome to the new Chelsea & The City!

I'm so excited to finally unveil the new Chelsea & The City! It's such a relief to have a little corner of the internet that just feels like home. There's something about a fresh start that totally re-energizes and gets those creative juices flowing again.

I've been working tirelessly with Natalie, of Catalina Creative, to make sure the new site reflects my personal aesthetic and I'm so happy with the way that everything turned out. She did a fantastic job! So... what's new?

ABOUT & FEATURES - Natalie worked hard rearranging my about section and we added a cool new way to sort through features (you can now find all of my interviews in one place). Have you played host to Chelsea & The City? Shoot me an email and I'll link back to your site.

PORTFOLIO & SERVICES - Interested in my styling services? I would love to help you create something beautiful! Sift through my past work and submit an inquiry.

FASHION FINDS - New items have been added to the shop and it's feeling much more fresh and more me! I love sharing what I'm digging this season.

Whenever I had uninterrupted free time (okay, it happened twice) over the past couple of months, I cranked up the tunes and created a few watercolor prints. I'm so happy to add another little piece of me to the blog! At this point there are just a few fun designs that I'm eager to have printed for our home but I'm excited to keep working with my India ink and add more things to the shop soon!

p.s. A HUGE thank you to Natalie! I am so blessed to have such a kind and talented friend in the blog (and real) world. I'm so happy to have found a sounding board for crazy ideas, a cheerleader for leaps of faith and someone to text about ridiculous tweets no matter the hour.

Happy Friday! + weekly roundup

Happy Friday friends! I'm sorry this week was a little quiet but I'm getting so close to finally revealing a new website and our amazing shoot that some quiet time was just what I needed to keep all the nerves at bay. This weekend I have plans to finalize everything and soak up what seems like the tail end of Summer.

Even though I didn't stick to my usual posting schedule, I did manage to find the time to fall in love with a few things this week:

Julia Kostreva's minimal studio on Wit + Delight
the sweetest tour of Merrit Elliot's home via The Glow
drinks and decor at Gracias Madre
73 questions with the adorable Blake Lively
the future of lifestyle blogging (and the best article I've read in a long time!)
& genius temporary "intention tattoos" by Jess Lively

embroidered top, darling issue 8, dead sea salts, vita shorts, refrigerator, dawson chest

You guys, this weekend was amazing and so tiring! The team and I have been working on a top secret collaboration for the last month or so and we were finally able to shoot it on Sunday. Between an all-day scouting trip to Atlanta last Thursday, getting last-minutes props and details squared away on Friday + Saturday and a whirlwind eighteen hour shooting day, I’m pretty wiped out. I may not have been blogging quite as often as normal but my mind has definitely been on this little corner of the web. Natalie and I have been working on a serious refresh and I’m beyond excited that we’re almost ready to launch the new site design.

I considered taking a longer break from blogging but the most fun posts for me to crank out are definitely these weekly favorites! Since I’m craving a some extra pampering and time at home, I’m loving all things calming, comfortable and homey.
