Whew! Last week was quite the roller coaster (did I mention we even went to the fair and rode our fair share of those this weekend?). I styled three editorial shoots on Tuesday (talk about a long day!), I struggled to come to terms with lost friendships and new creative forces and a we adopted a dog. All of those things took up a ton of brain space and left me little time for blogging but I'm pretty excited about the things that are in the works and on the horizon. Here's to a fresh new week and a few new favorites to go along with it!

Hooray for the weekend! I've loved having Lo at home with me for Spring Break and we've done some really fun things this week (crystal shopping, a ladies tea, etc.) but a weekend was sorely needed around here. We've got a huge sample sale happening at Finery (hop on over there to keep up with my bridal musings) this Saturday and I'll be firing on all cylinders right up until Easter. Hopefully Sunday provides enough rest and celebration to get us ready for another busy week.

I've been having the best time diving head first into new music again! For a long time I loved nothing more than discovering new tunes, adding records to our collection and spending my days enraptured in song... but then something shifted. I started hating everything new and took a huge break from music in general. Audiobooks replaced my daily background track and I revisited standbys / listened to the radio (gasp) in the car.  The last few months I've been rediscovering my love for playlist crafting and musical discovery (check out the last couple of playlists here, here and here). I love fresh tunes for the fresh season and this month's playlist is perfect for the first opportunity to drive with the windows down... finally!
