No matter how hard I try to quit the sometimes-overpriced kitsch and aroma of volcano not-so-subtly wafting through air, there's something about Anthropologie that always draws me back in. Quintessentially aspirational, Anthropologie's goods rarely find themselves into my cart or on their way to my home (because let's be honest, I tend to be on a Target budget... can I get an amen?). Alas, a girl can dream!

We're heading out of town... again! As you catch up on this installment of Chelsea Lately (a blog series I just can't seem to retire) we're en route to upstate New York to celebrate my dad's retirement. On the docket are family fire pit hangs, a trip to the outfield to toast my favorite man in style and a full day or two in the city that never sleeps. Happy Friday! Better late than never, no? Although I boasted earlier in the week about being back in the swing of things, it seems that I'm still readjusting to life after vacation (the worst!).

I'm so pumped to greet the weekend! I've been spending my days buried deep beneath a mountain of catch-up emails, video editing projects and ALL THE FEELS. My sweet Lorelai is in the Philippines for three whole weeks and I'm missing her something fierce. I'm choosing to spend my extra free time getting caught up at work, wrapping my head around upcoming blog posts and fixing up our space. Tonight the hubby and I are concert bound and the weekend is for lovers. What have you been up to? How are you keeping yourself busy during these last few Spring days?
