Happy Friday! + weekly roundup

Happy Friday my lovelies! This week has been a whirlwind of doctor's visits, resting and day-dreaming planning for our big move. My knee is still out of commission (for those of you who missed my whining, I tore a ligament right under my knee cap so bending my leg is pretty much awful!) which means I've been doing a TON of laying in bed. While I'm not overjoyed by the general lack of excitement, I've decided to soak up all of the snuggles and extra hours to think about the changes coming up that I can. I hope this weekend is full of fun activity for you (please share your plans so I can live vicariously)!

Here's what I've been loving this week:

Rue Magazine's gorgeous August issue
Sarah from Smitten Studio's cool home tour on The Glitter Guide
a homemade honey and lemon face mask from Stephanie Sterjovski
the perfect casual look by Rachel from Pink Peonies
& this wonderful Gwyneth Paltrow article!

Four Favorites: White Out

I'm not exactly sure how it happened (it could've been pilates or it could've been lifting a 30lb toddler) but I tore a tendon in my knee. Needless to say, I've become somewhat of a homebody lately. As per doctor's orders, "If it hurts, don't do it". This means a lack of outfit posts (sorry about that, I'm living in comfy PJs right now!), eating pizza off of the fancy china (because I am too lazy can't stand to cook/do dishes) and occupying my time the best way I know how... getting ideas for our new home in Huntsville, AL. We may not have nailed down the perfect place, but I do know I'll be painting the kitchen cabinets white if it kills me!

Blogger Favorites: See Shop Eat Do

I came across Whitney's blog, See Shop Eat Do, quite a while ago (she's been leaving me sweet comments from the start) and am so glad that I did! Her coastal-cool style is to die for and this girl puts together basics like nobody's business. Not only is she stylish, Whitney always has something witty or useful to add to each post and following along is truly a pleasure. If you haven't checked out her blog, stop by and say hi!
