Fall Essentials: Leather Details

clockwise from left: fluted skirt, paneled leather tee, trimmed peplum, ballet slippers, robinson middy satchel, tassel keychain

Lately, I've been having a love affair... with leather. I just can't get enough edgy details and elbow patches! While it's still too warm (aren't you tired of hearing that from me?) to go full-on Ross Gellar, I find that I can sneak in a quickie (leather detail) if I stick to trimmed tees and timeless touches. Until I'm ready to break-up, leather is a fall essential because of its luxe qualities and moody attitude!

Happy Friday! + weekly roundup

Happy Friday my lovelies. This week has been such a whirlwind! My little sister flew in from California to help me finalize things before my little family leaves for Alabama (I still have a ton of purging and organizing to do before the movers come on Monday!). It's been so wonderful having her! Where things felt like they were falling apart this week, everything has been coming together over the last few days. We got the apartment I set my heart on even though it looked like it would fall through. This time next week we'll be in an empty condo, getting ready to drive to our new home.

Here's what I've been loving this week:

Lulu & Georgia's tips for styling your sofa (note: it helps to have every single cute throw pillow available)
5 Fall essentials (video) by Mimi Ikonn
'Has J Crew gone too far?' - an article about the future of styling for the fashion giant on Refinery 29
Chriselle Lim's tips for staying fit
& a few stylish snaps from London Fashion Week by The Glitter Guide
