What is it about Nancy Meyers films?! The styling is always perfect and the story-lines are perpetually charming. It's Complicated (starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin) is about a divorced couple's brief affair. Filled to the brim with AHH-mazing set design and swoon worthy lifestyle inspiration, It's Complicated ranks up there with Something's Gotta Give (see that 'Scene It' post here) and The Holiday (coming to the blog in December!) style-wise. If you've yet to see this gem, I highly suggest you whip up some Croque Monsieur and settle in with the film!

It's beginning to look a lot like Fall ya'll! The leaves have started to change and I'm LOVING the colors this season is bringing. Autumn has always been my favorite time of year and I'm excited to finally find myself immersed in it.

In other news, tomorrow I'm boarding a plane for Los Angeles! I'm ecstatic to be back on the West Coast and finally (let's be real: it feels like forever but it's only been a week) be reunited with Lorelai. We'll be visiting family for the whole month of October! I'll be spending time in Long Beach and I'm looking forward to a little change of scenery (even though we just touched down in Alabama).

Leopard and Autumn go hand in hand! The neutral pattern seems to crop up everywhere when the leaves turn and temperatures start dropping. What I love about leopard is its versatility; it can be paired with other neutrals, rocked with stripes or worn as the focal point of your outfit. Designers have definitely taken note of my feline fever lately and I'm excited to pick up a few spotted acquisitions this season!
