High on the list of things I love about life in Southern California are the citrus trees in my parents' backyard. I just adore being able to pop into the garden and fetch a ripe lime... speaking of limes, I could REALLY use a margarita right now!

Since my family's home is right on the beach, the wind is keeping it pretty cool and I'm able to get a ton of mileage out of my Fall wardrobe here in California. My favorite piece to reach for is my utility jacket. Whenever I feel like another layer is necessary, I throw on this little number and all of my style problems are solved.

In other news, my momma found this AHH-mazing vintage Chanel bag while thrifting in Germany. I've been waiting to get my hands on it for ages and I'm so glad it's finally calling my closet home!

There are few things better than a crisp Fall day. Right up there with a cool Autumn breeze, for me at least, are apple picking, tea drinking and pumpkin-patch frolicking (all things I intend to do during my stay here in California). I'm in full-on Fall mode and I just can't help it! Something about the first signs of changing leaves gets me excited for making changes in my own life. What are you excited for this Fall?
