When I decided to embark on the journey of the thirty day/thirty piece closet remix challenge I had no idea just how challenging it would actually be. Sifting through the same pieces everyday got a little tiring but I'm so glad I managed to stick it out all month! I learned so much about my wardrobe and I'm excited to face my closet head-on with a few new insights:

I'm perfectly happy with a neutral wardrobe! In fact, it's so much easier to know that everything in your closet matches effortlessly. From now on I'll think hard before straying from my neutral color palette!

Stripes are a neutral! "Do you own enough stripes?!" "No."

I need to rethink my hair... ASAP!

What did you think of this little experiment? Did you like seeing so many outfits or are you utterly exhausted of seeing my mug everyday?

30 x 30: Day 30

utility jacket: patterson kincaid (similar) | peplum: forever 21 (love this one for fall/winter!) | pixie pants: j crew | bag: chanel | glitter loafers: gap | necklace: forever 21 (similar) | bracelet: j crew

That's all folks!

The final outfit of my 30 day, 30 piece closet remix challenge happened to fall on the final day of our trip to sunny Southern California and I thoroughly enjoyed both! I can't believe my days of citrus grove frolicking are behind me (this is my parents backyard by the way, gorgeous much?) but it's so good to finally be home. Does anything smell better than a grapefruit tree you ask?! Nope.

p.s. I'll be recapping my experience with 30x30 tomorrow!

One of the downsides of living out of a suitcase (not having a zillion wardrobe options was a major upside) is wrinkles! We're talking deep set, just-forget-about-it, no iron is getting these babies out wrinkles... Now that I'm home (and finished with my closet challenge) I look forward to getting reacquainted with my steamer.

Here's to the next few days of R&R and a little wrinkle release!
