We're Engaged! (featured on GWS)

"I have the entire forest living inside of me and you have carved your initials into every tree.” - Pavana

Our engagement session was one of the most romantic days my fiancé and I have ever spent together! We hiked a beautiful mountain pass with one of our dearest friends/photographer and spent hours snuggling, laughing and taking in the dreamy view.  Atop Tennessee’s Lookout Mountain with nobody around, we truly got to feel like nothing else in the world existed but our love.

Girls on Film: Huntsville Ember Sessions

Last month we brought Ember Sessions to Huntsville, AL (see some of the photos here) and I was so blown away by the profound impact it had on my spirit. What a blessing it was to hug on a few sweet ladies (my little sister included... can you see the resemblance?), tell them how incredibly beautiful their hearts and stories are and make a little magic together.

Recently, I've developed quite the affinity for making these fun behind-the-scenes videos. I love the movement and mood that watching shoots unfold brings and I have such fun looking back on some of my favorite moments in time. By the way, how cute is my sister?!

May Feeling

Wow, another month has come and gone... ain't that just the way!? May started off a little rocky (I caught a springtime bug) but is looking up because today I'm off to Los Angeles with Ginny from Sleepy Fox Photography! We'll be in town for a whirlwind week of photoshoots, exploring (so happy to welcome that series back to the blog) and wedding dress shopping with Rue De Seine and Green Wedding Shoes! I couldn't be more excited for everything that's on the horizon.

Since I'll be away from home base this week, things might be a little quiet on the blog but fear not. A new season of slow blogging might be just what I need to produce even better content for this space. Stay tuned for engagement photos, new projects and some fun things that have been taking place behind the scenes. Happy May!
