Fleeting

Last week/weekend was a little all over the place (Mr. Jackson was working on a project that had him in the office during some pretty weird hours). I definitely needed an extra day, hence the radio silence yesterday... oops! Aside from funky sleep patterns, Lorelai and I started at home pre-school yesterday and were gearing up/getting ready. So far, she's loving it and I'm excited for the new parenting adventure.

The start of school definitely means Fall and I've been embracing the transition lately...

Can you believe it's almost September?! No matter how often I glance at a calender during the month, I'm still consistently surprised when the last week approaches. More important than the beginning September, however, is the oncoming of a new season. Admittedly, the heat isn't my favorite and I've been counting down the days to utility jackets and pumpkin spice for some time now. Where Summer is about staying cool, Fall dressing is all about layering and I'm excited to start mixing things up.
