White After Labor Day

I've never been one to dress seasonally appropriate and the "no white after labor day" rule only makes me want to rock head-to-toe white all the more. Originally I threw on my trusty military jacket but it's still much too hot in Florida to begin dressing for fall. What fashion rules do you love to break?

p.s. Nobody ever tells you just how uncomfortable it is to shoot outfit pictures in public places. I spend about half an hour checking for neighbors, lugging my tripod in and out of my house and hiding from passers by during the process. Here's hoping it gets easier or I get a little gutsier!
