With Mother's Day just around the corner I thought I'd take a moment to put my little wishlist out into the universe. I've been Lorelai's stay-at-home mommy for almost two years and couldn't be more blessed and lucky! While it's hard work to teach and mold a little life, I wouldn't change this 'job' of mine for the world. Lo is such a joy to be around; smart, kind, funny, full of personality, cute as a button... and there is nothing I cherish more than our time spent together!

Motherhood is such an amazing (and taxing) experience so this holiday, treat your moms (and wives) to something luxurious that they may not have thought of getting themselves! A little pampering and a trip to the salon for a new hair do would be the perfect gift (I'm lusting after some ombre)! Cozy new pajamas and a fun bedding ensemble (I'm LOVING stripes and dots a la Grey & Scout) are necessities that can always use an upgrade. I'm on the hunt for a bag big enough to tote my stuff AND Lorelai's accoutrements and the Tory Burch Robinson is at the top of my list! Lastly, a new lens for more family snapshots (and better blogging) would be lovely.

Miss Lorelai has been under the weather and in need of some serious snuggles lately! When Samantha from North American Bear Co. contacted me about sending Lo a few goodies I was beyond excited. Gainesville Fashion Week's first night was an art show/cocktail party combo and I had a blast attending the event! I grabbed my friend Faye and headed for opening night even though April showers were already officially upon us (we got stuck in the rain walking to the event, hence the frizz!). We explored a couple of art installations, watched the models get made up and checked out a fabulous Stella & Dot display. It's such a treat to support local artists and designers and I can't wait to share a couple of runway shows!
