I have to tell you, it is SO GOOD to be in our new apartment. Even though the actual act of moving was quite exhausting, our new space is a breath of fresh air (hello huge vaulted ceilings and a ton of extra space). I'm incredibly recharged and excited about what is to come this Spring!

With a lot of things on the books for the rest of February (fun blog projects, fashion shoots, a trip to New Orleans, a client wedding...) it's nice to check out from my calender and peruse my favorite shops. With my heart set on Spring and our new space in mind, I'm seriously craving a few breezy pieces and some new decor additions.

Though my tastes may have changed a bit (I'm more drawn to moody snaps and mama subject matter lately), I'm still in love with beautiful photography and the daily shot or two (get it?) of coffee.

I started out (more than three years ago... yikes!) wanting this space to be about putting together pieces just so but slowly it is evolving into a space for exploring. Whether it be exploring the far reaches of what it means to create something beautiful or exploring new and swampy crevices on this beautiful planet, I have decided to go forth with abandon.

Sleepy Fox Photography and I regularly go on spontaneous explorations and when she called to ask if I'd drop everything and drive to this perfect little swamp I, of course, obliged. Few times make me happier than discovering little pockets of pretty with Lorelai and Ginny in tow. Although this might not be the most fashionable outfit to grace this blog, it's all in the spirit of adventure.
