Our Wedding On Green Wedding Shoes

I'm so happy and excited to finally be able to share our wedding with you! It truly was the most magical, special day of our lives and I'm still floating on a cloud of love, beauty and support from our amazing friends and family. It was so wonderful to have everyone we adore come together in one place. I remember looking out at the crowd as the party was winding down and realizing that everyone who has been with us on this journey was there to see it through. It's such a special thing to be surrounded by the people who have loved you, watch your love blossom and have them there to help celebrate and you're a big part of that. More than anything I've wanted to use this space to chronicle that journey and sharing our love story has been my favorite part of this year.

There are so many great photos from the day and I'm planning to spread them out (with all of the details!) over the course of the next few weeks. To see a more condensed post and a few snippets, please head over to our final Green Wedding Shoes feature in the Blogger Gets Married series!

I can hardly believe another Turkey Day is almost here. It seems like Thanksgiving comes around sooner and sooner each year, doesn't it?! Although we're celebrating this particular holiday of thankfulness with family in Colorado, I'm kind of itching to create a tablescape of my own. Last year we partied with friends at "friendsgiving" and I've gotta be honest, I missed the tradition of cooking and staging everything myself. Of course, no Hazel + Scout occasion would be complete without a neutral color palette and a few bohemian accents and this imaginary set-up is true to form. Rustic treats served on natural materials (wood and marble boards are my new best friend when it comes to entertaining), pops of glamorous metallic and luxurious texture would all have a place at our table. Whether you're hosting Thanksgiving this year or just dreaming of a bohemian celebration, this one goes out to you!

Happy Friday! + weekly links

This week was one for the books friends! I took on a new position at Finery Boutique and am so excited to overhaul their social media, try my hand at bridal styling and help with buying. I couldn't have possibly dreamed up a better outlet for all of the things I'm passionate about. While I spend the weekend head-first in tulle and lace, we'll also be transitioning into holiday mode, prepping for a trip to Colorado and getting inspired. I can't wait!

p.s. Things are looking new and shiny in the shop.
