I've really been on a roll with self-discovery/trip to Italy films lately (see my Eat, Pray Love style guide here) and I'm not complaining! There's something so beautifully Summery about the green country side, fresh-picked olives and a stroll down the piazza. Under The Tuscan Sun (another movie that started as a fabulous book) is about a woman's spur of the moment decision to purchase a gorgeous villa in Tuscany. Maybe it's our upcoming move, but there's change (and the scent of Summery olives) in the air!

As much as I love bright colors and fun patterns, I adore simple pieces. I always feel confident and ready for anything in the basics. Give me a comfy chambray (I'm so glad I invested in this J Crew version), a neutral color palette and metallic accents any day!
Do you see that little hanger? It's my new favorite thing! When I saw this Forever 21 piece on Amber from Face It Catalog, the hunt was immediately on. A few stalking shopping trips later and this little cutie was mine. I just love that it coordinates with my logo!
p.s. Nope, not engaged yet! My momma gave me this ring when I left home and I like to wear it on my ring finger. Mr. Jackson has informed me that 2013 is our year (!) though (I've spent the last eight months on the edge of my seat) so keep your fingers crossed that the days of white dresses and flower arrangements are not too far away!
